Kay Mullen has worked in most painting media over the years, and although she favours water colour and mixed media painting, she has recently been painting on silk and using artists coloured pencils. She enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge and skills with her students, in her classes in Epsom, Surrey
Kay has a true passion for painting and enjoys passing this on to her students. Unlike many art teachers, she encourages people to develop their own personal style and is very able to encourage those styles, whatever they may be.
Kay Mullen has since become an award winning, published artist. She was invited to join three major art societies; The Society of Women Artists, the society of Botanical Artists and the Royal Society of Miniature Painters. She was invited to work for the Medici publishing company and others. Kay’s work has been published in books, as cards, calendars and gift items.
Kay Mullen has exhibited her work at Westminster Central Halls, The Mall, Alexander Llewlyn and Medici galleries in London and local galleries in Surrey.
Her work is held in many private collections in the UK and overseas, and her achievements have also earned Kay a place in “Who’s Who in Art”.
